Hair Transplant Nurse

Hair Restoration Blackrock currently has an opening for a fully qualified, NMBI registered nurse for a full time permanent contract.

Salary: Very competitive, commensurate with experience.

Time: 5 days per week, no weekend or night work.

Hair Restoration Blackrock is the only JCI accredited hair transplant clinic anywhere in the world.

Applicants must:

• Have superb attention to detail
• Be a fully qualified, NMBI registered nurse

No previous hair transplant experience is required, as full training will be provided. All candidates however must be a fully qualified, NMBI registered nurse. Experience in operating theatres, surgical nursing or dermatology would be beneficial, candidates need to be efficient and capable of working within a large team of surgical technicians.

This role involves the following;

• Direct patient care, coordinating the surgical process
• Pre and post operative care and education
• Admissions and discharges
• Assisting in the operating theatre during the surgical procedure
• Assisting in dermatology clinic
• ILK/ PRP injections
• Laser hair removal
• Creating, monitoring and updating clinical policies
• Working closely with consultants, nursing and technical staff
• Clinical audits
• Self-directed learning on hair transplantation

Sterilisation Department Technician

Hair Restoration Blackrock (HRBR), Ireland’s leading hair transplant clinic, is seeking a Sterilisation Department Technician to join our exceptional team. At HRBR, we deliver world-class, pioneering care to patients experiencing hair loss. Our state-of-the-art facility at Samson House in Blackrock, County Dublin, is home to a highly skilled team of surgeons, nurses, technicians and support staff.

About the Role

No experience is required, full training is provided.

The role involves managing all aspects of the cleaning, sterilisation and maintenance of surgical equipment. You will also support the surgery team by maintaining the operating theatre.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the Sterilisation Department with the assistance of the surgical and nursing teams and 3^rd party service providers.
• Operating, maintaining and troubleshooting sterilisation equipment. Full training provided.
• Managing and decontaminating surgical instruments, including sorting, cleaning, repackaging and sterilising.
• Assembling surgical trays and preparing items for sterilisation.
• Inspecting instruments and equipment for cleanliness, defects, and malfunctions and reporting issues to the nursing team.
• Documenting sterilisation cycles and labelling products with sterilisation dates.
• Cleaning and maintaining the Operating Theatre, kitchen and general areas.
• Assisting with stock control, storage and general building maintenance as required.
• Participating in team activities and supporting overall clinic operations.
